Foundational Studies (General Education)

Boise State’s Foundational Studies Program offers an integrated learning experience that illustrates the University’s commitment to undergraduate education. The Program’s distinctive features establish the University as a leader in empowering students and enabling them to achieve academic excellence.

If you enrolled prior to 2012-2013:

–  consider a move to the ’12-’13 catalog by completing a request to have a “What-if Report” run by the Registrar’s Office (instructions here) to see how the courses you have taken will count toward the new Foundational Studies Program curriculum.
if you are not switching catalogs, you are still under “Core Requirements”. To view detailed information about Core , click this link.  On the next page, click the “Core and Diversity” tab on the top right hand side.
