Know Your Learning Style

multiple-intelligences infographicKnowing your learning style and being able to use it to your advantage is a great tool for any student.  Understanding how you learn best can help you study more effectively or help you develop your own methods for staying focused in class.  Below you will find different resources to help you discover your learning style, and how to maximize study time based on your type.  Use this information to develop your own best practices for studying both in and out of class.

VARK Learning Style Guide

Click on the link above, and then answer the questions to determine your VARK Learning Style. This inventory will tell you if you are a visual, auditory, reading/writing, or kinesthetic learner.

Multiple Intelligences Learning Styles

Taking it a little further than the VARK, this will tell you how high you score on 8 different learning styles: linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial, intrapersonal, interpersonal, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, and naturalistic.
